CIENCIAS 2020 - Online Competitions

Scientist Inside

This was one of the most awaited and live competitions. This programme is the delineation of scientists with voice and physical appearance. Thanks to our friend Sayana for giving us such a beautiful idea. Dr. Sivapriya Teacher was in charge of the programme and Shani led the team with the help of other classmates. We have got 5 brilliant participants in this program. They have selected one scientist from the given list of scientists and performed as them on the stage. Everybody did their job well.

Online Quiz

Dr.Deepu P R was the in-charge of this competition. We had many participants for this program, around 15. Only 5 among them were filtered after the preliminary level of competition. The final session includes 3 rounds namely, the Lockdown round(general knowledge), the Sanitizer round(general science and IT), and the Mask round(identifying the personality). Our M.Ed trainee Mr. Vinneth was the quiz master. Sayana led the team along with her classmates. Thanks to the quizmaster for making the online quiz so interesting and more exciting.



Instructions for the final round:

  1. ♦️The final rounds will be a live round through google meet
  2. ♦️The link will be provided in the respective WhatsApp group
  3. ♦️There will be three rounds
  4. ♦️Contestants should turn on the video and audio when asked to do so
  5. ♦️The time for answering one question will be 10 seconds
  6. ♦️Contestants should place their phone/Laptop on a table and sit comfortably in front of it
  7. ♦️Contestants are requested to wait for their turn to answer the questions
  8. ♦️ You are not allowed to hold your phone. You should place your hands on the table
  9. ♦️The contestant will be disqualified from the quiz if any kind of malpractice observed by the committee
  10. ♦️This is a live round so you should ensure stable network connectivity
  11. ♦️Quizmaster's decision will be final and binding

E-content preparation

The preparation of e-contents is an inevitable part for student teachers, especially in this pandemic situation. Also, we must be able to prepare online materials on any subject. That’s why we included e-content preparation as one of our competitions. And we are happy that we got many participants in this competition. This competition wasn’t a live one. We had already given the topic after registration and most of the students were able to complete the material in an excellent way. Dr.Leena Vahid was the in-charge of this competition. Veena led the whole committee with the help of her fellow classmates.

Digital Poster Making

Posters can catch the eyes of people and make them aware of a product or service that they wouldn't otherwise have known about. It's very easy to convey an ideology easily with these services. In this digital world, it's easily possible to share posters with each other. So digital poster plays an important role in our daily life.

Junior Science Expo

This programme was exclusively meant for school students. Being a teacher, It is very important for us to arose scientific thoughtfulness and scientific temper among the students. we requested many schools to ensure their participation and really received a very good response. We ask them to send a write-up on any innovative idea of your students along with pictures  via mail. Write up we have received was very good. Many students had brilliant ideas in their head and I personally wish them success and achievements in their life.

 The first day of our face-to-face peer class was organized in our college. I have taken the topic of Magnetism. I have briefly explained the Uses and application in one class. PHEONIX 2021 - INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY CELEBRATION

 Our college juniors organized a Women's day celebration in connection with International Women's Day 2021. Adv. P Aisha Potty was the chief guest. The inaugural function started with a prayer song. Our college principal gave a presidential address and then the chief guest's inaugural address. She addressed various problems and challenges faced by women in our society and how to tackle them. She also spoke about her experience and how she managed to be in such a position today. It was inspiring. Then felicitation was given by Very Rev.Fr. Zachariah Ramban, our local manager. After the closing of the inaugural function, Our juniors organized many cultural events like Dance, Skit, Mime, Flash mob. It was a colourful day and We had a bunch of amazing time together.                                                            The poster is given below.
