CIENCIAS 2020 - International Science Day celebration

I don’t have words to express my happiness and my feelings on this very special day. Today will be remembered as a golden day in the history of BMM II TRAINING COLLEGE as we were able to plan and execute the International science day celebration. Our hard work, prayers, and planning for the one last month have now made a historic and proud day for us. We were able to arrange an international day celebration incorporating student teachers from various colleges all over Kerala. Indeed, it was successful throughout from the inception of online meetings till the end of online competitions. I extend my sincere thanks and love to each and everyone who stood with us, for guiding us, and for the remarkable teamwork.

We begin our official meeting with a prayer song by our beloved teacher Dr. Leena Valid, Dept. of mathematics followed by chanting from Sooryagayathri, our classmate. Our programme Coordinator Dr Maya Devi E V welcomed each and everyone to the programme. The programme was presided by the Chairman of our college, Fr. Jobin B. Our college principal G Roy Sir, M.Ed Co-ordinator Santhosh sir and Our Union General Secretary Any Sleebachan gave their felicitation. We were blessed with an eminent young scientist Mr Yedu Krishna S for inaugurating our function. He really inspired us by explaining his personal experiences and the importance of the development of science. The keynote address was given by Dr K S Sajan sir, excellent academicians and Teacher educator of NSS Training College, Ottappalam. A beautiful memento, Our token of love was given to both of our Guests by Our Principal principal G Roy Sir and Local manager Very.Rev.Fr. Zachariah Ramban. Our main talk was on the topic of Augmented Reality. The morning section came to an end by Vote of thanks by Our Student Coordinator and UUC Jebin Jacob.

We also planned our afternoon session with interesting competitions like Science Quiz, Scientist Inside, E-content preparation, Digital Poster Making and Junior Science Expo. Each program was headed by a teacher educator and a group of student-teacher led by one among them. Thanks to all participants for their timely participation at the end of our celebration. Thanks to the Lord Almighty for the successful completion of all the competitions without any shortcomings. Thanks to dear Maya teacher, all the faculties and my dear friends for all the love and support.

Mathematics Association Inauguration

 The mathematics department organized the Association inauguration and Pie day celebration. Sri> Riju John was the chief guest to inaugurate the association and other teachers expressed their good wishes for the better performance of the association. Then we had the programmes of our students. The highlight was the song of our Leena miss, Head of Mathematics department. I wish them an effective and productive year ahead so that they can organize many events useful for our college and students. They had also organized a Quiz competition on Pie day and It was through the google forum.

Role Pay as Andre Church

Our dear Maya teacher has always been supportive and helpful till now. We cloud feel such a  love and care that we have never seen in our life. Teacher always wanted us to learn, that too not just through books, but also through skits, role play and many interest means. Teacher told us the importance of Bloom's taxonomy and selected few students as actors for the role play. My role was to play the character of Andre Church. My classmates Jeena,Poornima,Kavya,Jyothi,Athulya and Sayana were also played different characters. We were afraid How could it end up! But all performed well and the show turned out to the best. I sincerely thank our dear resourceful teacher for putting a lot of effort to help us learn.
