UN Day Quiz

24 October has been celebrated as United Nations Day since 1948. The year 2020 marks the 75th anniversary of the United Nations and its founding Charter. This anniversary comes in a time of great disruption for the world, compounded by an unprecedented global health crisis due to the COVID-19 pandemic, with severe economic and social impacts. But it is also a reminder that times of struggle can become an opportunity for positive change and transformation. Our Social science department students organized an Online quiz competition aimed at spreading awareness about UN Day. More than 200 B.Ed students from more than 30 colleges were able to participate in the quiz successfully.

PHEONIX 2021 - INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY CELEBRATION

 Our college juniors organized a Women's day celebration in connection with International Women's Day 2021. Adv. P Aisha Potty was the chief guest. The inaugural function started with a prayer song. Our college principal gave a presidential address and then the chief guest's inaugural address. She addressed various problems and challenges faced by women in our society and how to tackle them. She also spoke about her experience and how she managed to be in such a position today. It was inspiring. Then felicitation was given by Very Rev.Fr. Zachariah Ramban, our local manager. After the closing of the inaugural function, Our juniors organized many cultural events like Dance, Skit, Mime, Flash mob. It was a colourful day and We had a bunch of amazing time together.                                                            The poster is given below. The cultural programmes by our students was energetic and thoughtful at the same time.
