Happy Teacher's Day 2020

Teachers' Day is celebrated in India on the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, a philosopher, scholar, and an exemplary teacher. He was the second president of India. Dr. Radhakrishnan had said, "Instead of celebrating my birthday, it would be my proud privilege if September 5 is observed as Teachers' Day." The tradition of celebrating Teachers' Day started in 1962, in honor of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan and all the teachers across the country. Teachers are the pillars of a country. They guide and shape the destiny of the students. They teach them to become better human beings. They are the reason behind the successful career of a student. Teachers like S.Radhakrishnan and Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam are some of the renowned names that have given meaning to the word “teacher”. I am fortunate to have been blessed with such wonderful teachers who are always up for grooming the students into the finest individuals. I pray for their well-being and success, and shower immense respect today and always.
