Teacher's Day Celebration
Parents are a child's first teacher who gives them life
lessons and after them comes the Guru or teacher who leads the child ahead in
life. Teachers played a very
important role-- they have been our role models, our inspiration, and
parent-figures outside of our home who taught us many lessons about life. In fact, a good teacher not only imparts knowledge to their
students but they inspire, encourage and instil curiosity to find solutions to
problems. A teacher is a friend, philosopher, and guide who holds our
hand, opens our mind, and touches our heart. The contribution of a teacher
cannot be ignored at all. To honour these remarkable people in our lives, Teachers' Day is
celebrated as an important day world wide. Teachers' Day is celebrated on September 5 every year since
1962 to honour Dr.Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan as it is his birth anniversary. We also planned to celebrate Teacher's day. The guest and all our teaching faculties are made to sit in the dais. Then we had Presidential address by the guest and our institution faculties. we then cut a cake as token of happiness. Our local manager Rev.Zachariah Ramban lit up candles of all students, a symbolic representation of hues of truth and knowledge. Then we presented gifts to our teachers.
