The day that we were waiting for. College life is not only what we learn within the four walls but instead the sweet friendship and joyous unforgettable moments stays forever and these moments will come up when we walk down through the memory lane in our future. Students union serve as incubators of intellectual understanding, interpersonal growth, and citizenship. The Student Union of the college serves as the catalyst for the growth towards successful higher education experience. The day we enjoyed a lot. We laughed out loud, pulled other's leg, ate together, took pics and selfies. Those moments were relishing and delighted to be a part of it. Our principal Roy sir and all other faculties were with us throught the day. The main guest was Sri.Kureeppuzha Sreekumar. His presence turned out to be an extravagant dais. Our teachers expressed their felicitations to the Union. Scrumptious food was served to students. Then after Comedy Star fame Anuraj Sivagiri performed a visual feast

Government of India is commemorating the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, Father of the Nation, for a period of two years. Our institution also organized programmes in connection with the celebration. We have organized a seminar on the topic "Gandhian views on peace and equality". Sri.Mullakkara Ratnakaran was the chief guest. He is a Member in the 14th Kerala Legislative Assembly representing Chadayamangalam constituency in Kollam district. Mullakkara sir gave us insight about Gandhian views and visions about future world. It was indeed a marvelous speech as he pointed out many facts unknown and unaware to us. After the beautiful seminar session, Our students from different option presented posters. Students have beautifully portrayed the posters. It was simple though, you could easily grab many ideas.

Our institution also part take in the celebration by organizing seminars and workshops. Inception of celebration kicked off with a seminar on the topic "Gandhian views and Secularism". Dr.C Unnikrishnan , Principal of DB College Shasthamkotta , was the keynote speaker. Sir presented the bottom line aspects of Gandhian views and secularism in accordance with the present scenario. The gist of the speech is "According to Gandhi, TO me God is Truth and Love." Our institution manager Rev.Zachariah Ramban unveiled the photo of Mahatma Gandhi.
